At the dawn of the DIY Artist run label revolution, Sheba formed her label (S)onic Dynasty, leveraging her Film degree from Cornell University, work experience as a Marketing Director at a multi-million dollar franchise, short-form Content Producer in Entertainment/Tech and experience as a Life Coach to build her business from opportunities created by a song posted to YouTube. Overnight the first song she ever shared online saw spins on the radio from around the world — including London’s biggest station, Kiss FM and getting added to Sirius Satellite XM. That song eventually went to #1 in Jamaica and charted 5x in the UK which landed the video on MTV UK and into the top ten countdowns on Trace TV internationally. Sheba distributed her upstart label through Universal Music Group Canada running the label alone with not much of a budget but a whole lot of heart. Today she champions other musician entrepreneurs to boldly embrace the opportunity of developing their artist brands and monetizing their music through her platform, Music For The People. also the name of her upcoming musical release. Sheba is passionate about empowering Artists to see themselves as stakeholders who can effectively set up their businesses to thrive so they can live out their wildest dreams.
